Depending on mould design and part shape, this can be used to create clear simple shaped parts with high clarity.

A wide variety of moulding and finishing techniques help us to offer our clients the best solutions each and every time. These include Vacuum Forming, Thermoforming, Drape Forming, Press Moulding, Fabrication, CNC Machining and Component Assembly.

Vacuum Forming:

Vacuum Forming, is a simplified version of Thermoforming, whereby a sheet of plastic is heated to a forming temperature, stretched onto or into a single-surface mould and held against the mould by applying vacuum between the mould surface and the sheet.

The Vacuum Forming process can be used to make a large variety of products, such as shower trays, dashboards, promotional display units, signage, machine covers, to mention a few.

Normally, draft angles must be present in the design on the mould (a recommended minimum of 3°), otherwise release of the formed plastic and the mould is very difficult.

Thermoforming:

A similar process to Vacuum Forming but is more often associated with thin gauge film used in packaging and cup manufacture.

Fabrication:

Cold or hot folding, machining profiles and assembly of flat plastic sheet.

CNC Machining:

3 and 5 axis trimming of plastic parts.
